what we do

Custom home building and general contrACting

With over 40 years of building experience we guide you through the process from start to finish. We will help you through the design process, discuss budgets, and manage the construction of your home. As a builder we handle many of the steps ourselves, as a general contractor we schedule the work that needs to be done with our subcontractors so your home is completed in a timely manner and to the standards we require.

remodel specialists

Remodeling your home may seem easy, HGTV tells you its a breeze. Although some may have the time, know how, and energy to take on that kind of project, many don’t and that’s just fine. Even the simplest of kitchen remodels can get out of control quickly. Are you adding onto your home, is there excavation that needs to be done, new foundations that need to be poured, what about structural engineering and building permits? With Maupin Homes you don’t have to worry about any of this, we will handle it all so you don’t have any surprises that hold up that remodel you’ve been dreaming of.

Green and energy EFFICIENT building

Building in the mountains is different than building in the valley. The weather, energy consumption, and snow loads are all things you have to account for and take extra steps to ensure your home will withstand whatever mother nature has to throw at it. Maupin Homes utilizes Energy Seal insulation packages which supports our local community but more importantly, provides your home with what it needs to run efficiently in mountain climates.

Energy Seal System

Energy Seal reduces energy utilization up to 50% which will save you money on energy use and consumption. Ice dams and moisture issues are a major problem in climates that see as much snow as we do. An ice dam is created when a ridge of ice forms at the edge of a roof and prevents melting snow from draining off. Water then backs up behind this dam and will leak into your home causing damage to walls, ceilings, insulation, and other areas. Energy Seal eliminates the creation of these ice dams, which in turn, helps avoid moisture issues. Bio and recycled content is used in Energy Seal insulation, aiding in the sustainability of our environment. Being comfortable in your home is also a main concern. Heat loss, and cold or dirty air entering your house can make being comfortable in your home very difficult. With Energy Seal, you won't have to worry about having healthy, comfortable, clean air.
